About
Builder first. 15 years of shipping — from factories to AI systems.
I started as a design engineer in 2011, building automation machinery and production lines. Over 15 years, I moved from engineering to operations management to founding my own company.
In 2022, I founded Ulstraw — an eco-friendly brand turning rice straw waste into consumer products for the US market. We hit Amazon US #1 New Release in our category in 2024 and won the Global Championship at HEC Montreal, 2023.
Running Ulstraw taught me what non-tech founders actually need from technology: systems that work, not demos that impress. I started building AI tools for my own operations — content automation, document processing, lead capture — and realized I could build them for others too.
Along the way, I coached 1000+ foundersthrough startup programs at FTU, RMIT, and international competitions. I know the language of business and the language of code. That's rare.
Now I build production AI systems for founders and small teams. I write code, I ship products, and I make sure you can run them without me.

How I'm Different
I'm a founder, not just a freelancer
I founded and ran a physical product company (Ulstraw). I understand the pressure of shipping with limited resources, tight budgets, and real customers waiting.
I build for production, not for demos
Every system I deliver is meant to run in the real world. My own site (nguyenxuantai.com) runs the same stack I build for clients — auth, email automation, gated content, admin reporting.
You own everything
Source code, documentation, Loom walkthrough. No lock-in, no dependency on me. Your next developer can pick up where I left off.
